Public television in Tampa, Fla., has added "Afghanistan: The Surge" to its schedule. It will air on WEDU+ (aka WEDU-DT) at 8 p.m. on Sept. 9. WEDU+ can be found on digital channel 3.4, on Bright House cable at channel 605, on Comcast at 203, Knology at 137 and on Verizon FIOS at 476. OK Camp Lejeune Marines, "Afghanistan: The Surge" will be on your cable PBS channel Aug. 15, at 9 pm. That is to say, on the cable channel UNC-MX. It will also be broadcast on their main UNC-TV channel at a date yet to be determined. As they say, watch this space. And did I mention that DVDs are for sale at TheSurge.biz?

"Afghanistan: The Surge" was sent out yesterday to all the PBS stations in the country. Each station will decide if and when to air it. The first to report in was KQED in San Francisco, one of the PBS flagship stations. It will broadcast the film on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 9 .m. on KQED World. Further updates at TheSurge.biz.
